Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Grocery Stocker to maintain product levels, ensure proper display, and uphold food safety standards in a retail environment. You will stock shelves, operate a pallet jack, assist customers, and keep the store clean and safe.

The role requires reliability, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting, and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays. Minimum age 16, training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Age 18+ to operate equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
• Operates pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items.
• Ensures dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly.
• Inspects product for quality and maintains quality control and food safety standards.
• Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives.
• Provides friendly, customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers and answering questions.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by safety procedures.
