Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a team member to maintain product levels and quality in the grocery department. You will ensure items are displayed per company standards and uphold food safety practices while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves stocking, using pallet jacks, and assisting customers with inquiries in a fast-paced retail environment. Training is on-the-job, and eligibility requirements include age 16+ with higher ages for equipment operation and driving

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Minimum age 18 to operate equipment.
• 21+ to drive for company business per policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
• Operate pallet jack to unload from warehouse and reload trucks.
• Ensure dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded as needed.
• Inspect product quality and maintain food safety standards.
• Collect empty boxes and trash for disposal.
• Assist customers by locating products and answering questions.
• Promote sales with suggestive selling techniques.
• Provide friendly customer service and handle complaints professionally.
