Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring for a stock associate in our grocery department. You will maintain product levels, ensure displays meet company standards, and uphold food safety practices while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include stocking, loading and unloading with a pallet jack, monitoring product freshness, assisting customers, and supporting team goals in a fast-paced store environment. Training provided; opportunities for growth available.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16; must be able to perform physical tasks and stand for long periods.
• 18+ to operate equipment; 21+ to drive for company business per policy.
• On-the-job training provided; dependable and able to work nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full stock conditions on grocery displays and shelves.
• Operate pallet jack to unload and reload items from trucks.
• Ensure dated products are stocked or discarded appropriately.
• Inspect products for quality and maintain food safety standards.
• Assist customers with questions and price checks.
• Promote sales through suggestive selling and friendly service.
