Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a retail stock associate to maintain stock levels and ensure product quality in our grocery department. You’ll display items according to company standards and uphold food safety practices while delivering friendly customer service.

You may operate equipment and assist customers, with on-the-job training provided. This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 to work in a retail environment.
• Age 18+ required to operate equipment.
• 21+ to drive for Company business per policy.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
• Operate pallet jack to unload and reload trucks.
• Ensure dated product is stocked, rotated or discarded properly.
• Inspect product quality and uphold food safety standards.
• Assist customers and respond to price checks.
• Promote product sales through suggestive selling.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, service-oriented assistance.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment per company procedures.
