Job summary

SpartanNash, a leading food solutions company with a Genesee, Michigan location, is seeking a store associate to stock and display products and contribute to the store's financial best interests. You will help maintain clean, well-stocked departments while ensuring guest experience and safety guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, and coordinating with management on stock needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred; retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents; basic mathematical skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Familiarity with all products carried in the departments and knowledge of product locations.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
