Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a team member in Williamston, MI to display and stock products while contributing to the store's financial best interest. You will ensure guest experience and comply with safety and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include receiving, stocking back-room merchandise, merchandising shelves, and notifying management for orders. Prior experience and basic math skills are helpful, with an emphasis on detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Properly fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Have familiarity with all products carried in the departments and know the product locations in the store.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
