Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a grocery associate to maintain stock levels and quality control in the grocery department. You will ensure products are displayed per standards, assist customers, and support sales through friendly service and effective merchandising.

You will operate pallet jacks, load/unload items, and keep the area clean and safe while following company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• 21+ to drive for company business per policy.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintains full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
• Operates pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items.
• Ensures dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly.
• Inspects product for quality and maintains food safety standards.
• Assists customers by answering questions and locating products.
• Promotes sales through suggestive selling and friendly service.
