Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company seeks a Grocery Associate to maintain stock levels and ensure quality control in the grocery department. You will display products according to company standards and uphold food safety practices while delivering friendly, sales-driven service.

Responsibilities include restocking shelves, operating equipment safely, and assisting customers with inquiries and product locations. This role emphasizes teamwork and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Greet customers and provide helpful service.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Ability to multitask in a busy retail environment.
• Keep products stocked and displayed according to standards.
• Inspect and rotate stock to ensure freshness.

Responsibilities

• Maintains full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
• Operates pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items (partners 18yrs.+).
• Ensures dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold.
• Inspect product for quality and maintains quality control and food safety standards.
• Collects empty boxes and other trash and places into bailer (partners 18yrs.+).
• Assists customers by responding to price check questions and locating products.
• Promotes product sales with suggestive selling and friendly service.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment by following safety procedures.
