Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Grocery Team Member in the Washington area. You will assist with receiving and preparing product, maintain displays, stock shelves, and provide courteous service to customers and Team Members.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. No prior retail experience is required, and strong teamwork is valued.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays and front-faces products.
• Stock and clean grocery shelves, bulk bins, dairy and frozen sections.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to team leaders.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling program; keep sample area tidy.
• Complete spoilage, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Participate in periodic inventory checks.
• Report to station on time and follow PPE and safety rules.
• Provide excellent customer service and address needs promptly.
• Maximize sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, and merchandising.
