General Trading Co. is seeking a Grocery Retail Territory Manager in New York, NY. This full-time role covers visits to stores, ensuring alignment with company expectations for Grocery, Dairy and Frozen departments. You will grow relationships with store managers, review sales data, and promote General Trading programs across the territory.

The position emphasizes field visits, space planning, and collaboration with store staff to drive in-store performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
3–5 years of Retail Sales experience.
Ability to build internal and external relationships.
Strong attention to detail and great organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to store owners in opening departments and remodeling.
Act as a liaison between General Trading and its customers.
Introduce, instruct and follow up on all Programs and Apps.
Promote buying Grocery, Dairy and Frozen exclusively through General Trading.
Review all applicable Sales Reports with stores.
Understand market conditions, product innovations, and competitor pricing and sales.
Develop strong relationships with store managers and staff.
Perform physical work in connection with space allocation.
Salary commensurate with experience.
