Job summary

ShopRite of North Brunswick is seeking a Receiver to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and to maintain a neat, safe warehouse. You will protect company assets while delivering a great customer experience and following QA standards.

Key tasks include verifying invoices, unloading trucks, and handling damaged goods, with adherence to department policies and safety guidelines. This is a part-time role in North Brunswick, NJ.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Work with fresh, dried and/or processed products without allergic issues.
• Tolerate dust and cleaning agents.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Adhere to attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor storage area for cleanliness and readiness for next shift.
• Handle damaged or returned items according to policy.
• Verify invoices for cost, retail and quantity.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Follow safety procedures when operating equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
