Job summary

Price Rite seeks a reliable Receiver to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and maintain a neat back room. You will assist in maintaining stock integrity and support store operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will learn multidepartment skills, work with a team, and contribute to cost-saving programs while providing friendly customer service in SEEKONK, MA. This is an on-site, hourly role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English; basic math ability.
• Able to stand/walk for full shifts.
• Able to lift 25 lbs., occasionally 50 lbs.
• Able to work with fresh, dried and processed products.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Good customer interaction and cooperative team member.

Responsibilities

• Monitor storage area for cleanliness and readiness.
• Handle damaged or return to stock per policy.
• Verify invoices for cost, retail and quantity.
• Greet customers and provide assistance.
• Promote current charitable promotions to customers.
• Operate equipment safely and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow QA hand washing standards; wear gloves when handling food.
• Lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs; stack and unload trucks.
