Price Rite of West Hartford is hiring a Receiver to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and protect company assets while keeping the back room neat and organized. You will perform duties efficiently and support store operations to deliver a great customer experience.

The role requires reading and communicating in English, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. It offers full-time hours with opportunities for growth and teamwork in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English clearly and understand basic directions.
• Ability to perform basic math and operate in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shifts and lift 25–50 lbs as required.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Ability to comply with safety, QA, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Verify invoices for cost, retail and quantity accuracy.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized back room and store areas.
