Canary Retail Technologies focuses on independent grocers, installing and supporting POS systems across the United States. This hybrid role includes on-site installation, training store teams, and ongoing remote support to keep stores live through peak periods.

You will configure hardware and software, manage payments and PCI compliance, and ensure smooth operation from go-live through busy weekends, with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years installing or supporting POS systems in grocery, retail, or restaurant settings.
• Hands‑on experience with POS hardware, payment terminals, and store networking (wired and wireless).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, Windows, and network issues.
• Clear, patient communication with non‑technical store owners and staff, by phone and in person.
• Experience working in a ticketing system and documenting your work.
• Ability to manage several open issues and installs at once, and to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Install and configure POS systems in stores, train teams, and go-live support.
• Provide ongoing remote and on-site support and escalate complex issues.
• Coordinate hardware delivery, scheduling, and regional travel up to 25%.
• Maintain documentation and update knowledge base.
