Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Austin seeks a Team Member to support ordering, replenishment, and merchandising of grocery products for purchasing and promotions. You will monitor inventory, replenish stock, and ensure orders align with WFM standards to sustain store profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include completing Order Writer training, maintaining clean, safe conditions, and delivering friendly service in a fast-paced environment while adhering to WFM procedures and health

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ordering systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes Order Writer training.
• Replenishes products through proper buying procedures.
• Orders perishable and/or non-perishable grocery products and maintains back stock levels.
• Monitors open PO reports for purchases and credits.
• Controls spoilage/shrink; participates in inventory and cycle counting.
• Ensures orders are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns.
• Oversees customer special order procedure.
• Analyzes product transfers, waste and spoilage.
• Supports leadership in inventories.
• Maintains profitability by meeting purchasing and sales targets.
