Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Lancaster, CA is hiring for a Team Member to order, replenish and merchandise grocery products, participate in WFM purchasing and promotions, and maintain inventory accuracy and store standards.

You will deliver friendly customer service, support merchandising displays, follow procedures for safety and cleanliness, and help meet purchasing and sales targets while upholding WFM core values.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete Order Writer training.
• Replenish products using proper buying procedures.
• Place orders for perishable and non-perishable goods and manage back stock.
• Monitor open PO reports for purchases and credits.
• Control spoilage and participate in inventory/cycle counts.
• Ensure timely, accurate product orders to optimize inventory turns.
• Oversee customer special order process.
• Analyze product transfers, waste and spoilage.
• Support leadership in conducting inventories.
• Meet or exceed purchasing and sales targets.
• Attend required trainings and work all scheduled shifts.
• Provide courteous customer service and suggestive selling.
• Maintain clean and safe store environment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
