Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an hands-on Assistant Grocery Manager for a nationwide restaurant retail store. You will lead a team, drive daily operations, and deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

With at least 4 years in a management role, you will oversee inventory, P&L, hiring and training, merchandizing, and loss prevention while ensuring food safety compliance and creating a positive work culture that supports associate development and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar management role.
• Proven positive leadership with a people-first mindset.
• Experience managing warehouse operations.
• Background in P&L management, inventory control, hiring and training staff, merchandising, cash control, payroll, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all associates daily with a hands-on approach.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
• Oversee daily operations, conduct meetings, and prepare reports.
• Analyze sales and profit data to support business decisions.
• Create a positive customer experience at all levels of the store.
