Job summary

Northeast Grocery is seeking a Grocery Manager to oversee the grocery operations of the store, including dry grocery, dairy, frozen foods and DSD. The role emphasizes achieving financial targets, ensuring inventory control, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

The candidate will supervise Grocery department activities, train associates, and maintain sanitation and corporate merchandising standards, especially when the Store Manager or Co-Manager is away.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
• High School Degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Oversee grocery operations including dry grocery, dairy, frozen food and DSD.
• Manage budgeting and financial aspects of the Grocery department and coordinate merchandising.
• Ensure the Grocery Department is well stocked and presented within corporate standards.
• Act as the lead in the absence of Store Manager and Co-Manager.
