Job summary

Northeast Grocery is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead the grocery operations, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain stock and merchandising in line with company policy.

The role covers dry, dairy, frozen, and DSD areas and requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and 3+ years in related work. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and available to support the store as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 and ability to manage others to achieve objectives.
• Excellent communication and basic computer skills are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Manage grocery operations across dry, dairy, frozen, and DSD.
• Oversee store operation in the absence of the Store Manager and Co-Manager.
• Control budgeting and financial aspects of the Grocery department (sales, gross margin, shrink, CTO, payroll).
• Coordinate merchandising of Grocery/General Merchandise products to corporate standards.
• Maintain stock and presentation of the Grocery Department.
