Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of grocery retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers with logs.
• Report safety risks or issues, including robbery, theft or fraud, to management.
• Train department associates on inventory/stocking and CAO.
• Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process.
• Schedule price changes and update shelf tags and promotions.
• Assist in preparing the store/department budget and review financial reports.
• Monitor and control department expenses and stay aware of ads and promotions.
• Create and execute sales promotions with store management.
• Understand store layout and product locations; respond to product inquiries.
