Job summary

Kroger is seeking an experienced department manager to directly supervise all activities for the department and support day-to-day Grocery operations. You will foster a Customer 1st culture, promote teamwork, and model Kroger's values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will manage inventory, price changes, budgets, and financial reports while ensuring food safety and compliance across the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Any management experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines; ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and temperature logs are maintained.
• Report all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud; notify management of customer or employee accidents.
• Train department associates on inventory/stocking and Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO).
• Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process.
• Schedule daily, weekly and monthly price changes by updating shelf tags and promotional signs.
