Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in grocery retail management is preferred.
• Experience supervising a team and budget awareness are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
• Report safety risks, theft, fraud, and accidents to management.
• Train associates on inventory, stocking, and CAO processes.
• Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process.
• Schedule price changes and update shelf tags and signs.
• Maintain awareness of inventory conditions and discrepancies.
• Assist management with budgeting, profit and loss reviews, and financial reports.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; implement promotional plans.
• Prepare seasonal critiques for the sales and merchandising supervisor.
• Create and execute sales promotions with store management.
• Understand store layout and locate products; respond to product questions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and make recommendations.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines; train and develop associates.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume; promote teamwork.
• Communicate department information to associates; provide feedback and reviews.
• Handle high-paced or stressful situations and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
