Job summary

Kroger is seeking a department supervisor to lead grocery operations with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean environment. You will direct all department activities, supervise associates, and align daily work with the Customer 1st strategy while upholding Kroger's core values of respect, integrity, and safety.

You will manage scheduling, training, performance reviews, and promotions in collaboration with store management, staying compliant with laws

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Grocery experience.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop associates on performance of their job and participate in the performance appraisal process.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelines.
• Create and execute sales promotions in partnership with store management.
• Prepare and submit seasonal critiques for the sales and merchandising supervisor.
• Monitor and control expenses for the department.
