Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market in Illinois is hiring a Coordinator to plan, direct and supervise the day-to-day operations of their department. You will manage ordering, receiving, stocking and display of products, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring food safety processes are followed.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2-3 years retail experience, plus 1 year of management experience. You should be able to lead a team, communicate clearly, and contribute to achieving sales and labor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling, staffing selection and hire to meet staffing needs.
• Promote career paths and development, participate in promotion decisions.
• Support disciplinary actions and discharge recommendations.
• Achieve budgeted goals for sales, labor and margin in the department.
• Review sales goals, costs, shrink and stock levels.
• Provide exceptional, fast, friendly customer service and guidance.
