Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an In-Store Shopper to support the Customer Service & E-Commerce teams by preparing online orders for delivery and pickup. You’ll shop throughout our store for produce, meat, dairy, household items, prepared foods, and more, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Shifts are flexible and include Saturdays, Sundays, early mornings, and evenings, with peak periods from November through January.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency using handheld technology and/or fixed devices.
• Ensure product and order accuracy through meticulous verification and quality control processes.
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification requirements for restricted items.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information.
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events.
• Communicate clearly, collaboratively and courteously.
