You will respond to product questions, stock shelves, offer samples where appropriate, and ensure product freshness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates, with a positive attitude.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with recommendations.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and offer product samples.
• Ensure products are fresh, check sell-by dates and label, stock and inventory merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies and stay updated with ads.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify management; inspect equipment and report repairs.
