Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a dedicated Store Associate to ensure clean, safe, and welcoming shopping experiences for customers. You’ll assist customers, bag groceries, and help locate products while upholding company standards.

Ideal candidates are reliable, communicative, able to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment, and available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training is on-the-job, with growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Typically involves on-the-job training.
• Minimum of 16 years of age required.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.

Responsibilities

• Ensures groceries are bagged properly with like items and weight considerations.
• Collects shopping carts and keeps the parking lot free of debris.
• Maintains stocked and presentable front-end racks and coolers.
• Promotes product sales through active customer engagement.
• Ensures cleanliness and safety in store areas as per company policies.
• Greets customers, answers questions, and assists with bagging and transporting groceries to vehicles.
