Job summary

El Super #49 in Long Beach is seeking a friendly Checker to join our Store Operations Team. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, processing sales quickly and accurately, and handling cash register operations in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Under supervision, you will safeguard assets and assist customers while meeting physical requirements such as lifting up to 60 pounds. This position offers growth opportunities within the El Super banner within Chedraui USA.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
