Job summary

El Super #68 Bell Gardens is seeking a Checker to join our Store Operations Team. Starting rate is $16.90 per hour, with emphasis on friendly customer service and accurate checkout processing.

Under supervision, the Checker handles cash register operations, helps keep the store running smoothly, and supports safety and asset protection. This role is part of the El Super family within Chedraui USA.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
