Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Strong service mindset.
• Clear and precise direction in communication with team members.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.
• Commitment to safety and compliance in the store.
• Understanding of seasonal and diverse merchandising to meet customer needs and gain market share.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and development with coaching and feedback.
• Identifies talent and supports staffing for leadership roles.
• Conducts candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and enable growth.
• Oversees operations and financial results by executing corporate plans to maximize sales and productivity, owning budget line items in the P&L.
• Drives safety and compliance and manages store condition and training needs.
• Guides Team Leaders with daily work assignments and development.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
