Job summary

Kroger is seeking a capable supervisor for the Royal Oak, MI store to direct the department, uphold safe, clean conditions, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise duties, support day-to-day Grocery operations, and foster teamwork following Customer 1st principles and Kroger’s core values.

Responsibilities include training associates, managing inventory and CAO, planning the inventory cycle, pricing updates, and assisting with budgets and financial reporting to help drive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of grocery retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers with logs.
• Train department associates on inventory/stocking and Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO).
• Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process.
• Schedule daily, weekly and monthly price changes by updating shelf tags and promotional signs.
• Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget, profit and loss reviews.
