• Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the department.
• Support day-to-day Grocery operations and maintain a safe, clean environment.

• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperature logs.
• Train department associates on inventory/stocking and CAO.
• Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process.
• Schedule price changes and update shelf tags and promotional signs.
• Prepare seasonal critiques and submit them to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with store management on budgets and financial reports.
• Monitor expenses and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Understand store layout and product locations; respond to product questions.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume and promote teamwork.
• Provide feedback and conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced environments and handle conflicts professionally.
• Follow directions and resolve customer and business issues, including interactions with minors or vulnerable groups.
