The Kroger Co. is seeking a dedicated department supervisor for our Alaska store. You’ll direct and supervise all department functions, ensuring exceptional customer service and a safe, clean environment. You’ll support day-to-day Grocery operations, coach associates, and help manage inventory, pricing changes, and promotional execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum management experience is required.
• Preferred 1 year of grocery retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, with temperature logs.
• Train department associates on inventory, stocking, and Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO).
• Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process and update shelf tags and promotional signs.
• Assist store management with budget, profit and loss reviews, and action on financial reports.
• Supervise and coach staff; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.
