Harris Teeter in Chantilly, Virginia seeks an Assistant Grocery Manager to supervise up to 25 associates in the Grocery Department, with potential oversight of the HBC/GM Department. This role contributes to store direction, coordination, and evaluation in line with company policies.

You will interview and train associates, plan and direct work, and participate in performance reviews and disciplinary actions, while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Complete Company's training including but not limited to new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
