Lowes Foods is seeking a Bench Department Manager to supervise guest service, merchandising programs, and departmental operations within the grocery area. After training, you’ll be prepared to fill a Department Manager role within 30 miles of home and remain on bench until a corresponding opening arises.

You will guide staff to deliver friendly service, manage inventory and pricing, and ensure sanitation and safety across the department while working with store leadership and vendors.

• Capacity to read and follow directions and store policies.

Responsabilités

• Supervise grocery department staff to deliver polite, friendly service.
• Achieve budgeted sales, wage percent, and department profits.
• Maintain inventory and supplies to maximize sales while avoiding excess stock.
• Operate department according to merchandising and operating programs.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards and price accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation and safety across department and backroom.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to staff.
• Coordinate stocking, guest service and scheduling to meet standards.
• Control shrink through stock loss practices and audits.
• Ensure advertised items are available, signed, and scanning correctly.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Receiver on product levels and conditions.
