Job summary

Fry's Food Stores in Arizona is seeking a department leader to drive exceptional customer experiences in Grocery. You will direct and supervise all department functions, support day-to-day operations, and uphold the Customer 1st strategy while modeling Fry's core values.

You will train associates, manage scheduling and inventory, and partner with store management on budgets, pricing, and promotions to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Any management experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all food safety regulations and ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and temperature logs are kept.
• Report safety risks or issues, including theft or fraud; notify management of accidents.
• Train department associates on inventory/stocking and CAO; plan and supervise inventory processes.
• Schedule daily, weekly and monthly price changes by updating shelf tags and promotional signs.
• Monitor inventory conditions and note discrepancies; assist in budget, profit and loss reviews.
• Monitor and control department expenses; stay current with ads and promotional plans.
