Qualifications

• Extensive retail background with prior management experience in retail operations.

• Knowledge of check stand scanning and loss prevention procedures; cash handling and cash register reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Champion customer service programs to meet or exceed goals and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day grocery department operations and front-end functions.
• Open and close the store; supervise associates in the absence of the Store Director and Grocery Manager.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, security, and other policies; implement emergency procedures as needed.
• Maintain accuracy in cash handling and reporting; oversee product pricing, stocking, and merchandising.
