Albertsons Companies seeks a Grocery Manager to direct and supervise the grocery department operations, including ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and merchandising. The role may involve back-up cashier duties and leading day-to-day store activities in the absence of senior leadership.

The position requires a strong retail background with management experience, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a diverse team while ensuring adherence to policies, safety, and regulatory

• Extensive retail background with prior management experience.
• Strong written and oral communication; leadership and development skills.
• Ability to supervise and develop people, handle customer interactions, and maintain composure.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting retail operations.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and supervise the Grocery Department operations and front end functions.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and merchandising.
• Back-up cashier duties and suggestive selling as needed.
• Ensure proper cash handling, tapes, and money pickup.
• Prepare night stock to-do lists and control shrink; manage pricing changes.
• Open and close the store; manage store safety and compliance.
• Oversee overall store operation in absence of Store Director and Assistant Store Director.
• Participate in receiving duties when needed.
• Perform duties with accuracy, integrity, and according to policy.
