Hugo's Family Marketplace is seeking a Grocery Manager to oversee daily grocery department operations, coach staff, manage inventory and merchandising, and ensure food safety compliance. The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service and driving department profitability.

You will supervise a team, monitor stock and sales performance, and collaborate with others to meet store objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 3–5 years in retail or grocery, preferably in a grocery department.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with inventory management, ordering and merchandising.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily grocery department operations for efficiency and productivity.
• Supervise, train, and develop department staff to high performance.
• Oversee inventory management: ordering, stock rotation and product availability.
• Maintain cleanliness and merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Track sales and profitability and analyze data to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and food regulations and a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve store goals.
