Qualifications

• Experience leading a Grocery Department or similar retail team.
• Proven ability to drive sales, profitability, and in-stock conditions.
• Strong merchandising, pricing accuracy, and planogram execution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Grocery Department with a focus on customer service, sales, and department readiness.
• Deliver friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are clean, full, front-facing, and merchandised to standards.
• Execute planograms, promotional sets, seasonal transitions, and weekly ad merchandising.
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, product rotation, and backroom organization.
• Monitor shrink and implement procedures to reduce waste and loss.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and standards.
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop grocery associates while fostering a positive team environment.
