Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals.
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with the Customer 1st strategy.
• Answer questions regarding products sold within the department and store.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Inform customers of dairy specials and freshness.
• Check product quality, review sell-by dates, and take action as needed.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and keep logs.
• Report safety risks, incidents, and discrepancies to management.
