Job summary

The Kroger Co. is hiring a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger at the Carson, CA location 650 E Carson St, Carson, CA 90745. You will bag groceries, assist customers with loading bags, and help customers locate products in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

You also perform basic shelf conditioning, inform customers of specials, return items to shelves and maintain cleanliness in store and parking areas. Training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Assist in removing customer merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers with loading bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for store areas.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and parking lot; clean all areas inside and outside of store.
• Understand store layout, locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Follow safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions, accidents, or issues and notify management.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines; provide friendly service to customers.
