Responsibilities include bagging, assisting with stocking, informing customers of specials, and supporting store safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced setting. Prior retail experience is welcome, with a focus on courtesy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Team-oriented and customer-focused with a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Aim for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Follow best bagging practices for various bag types.
• Assist in removing merchandise from carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts.
• Clean spills and trash in-store and in the parking lot.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Understand layout and locate products; perform price checks as needed.
• Support safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and report needed repairs.
• Create a welcoming environment and answer product questions.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines.
• Handle conflict calmly and with honesty and integrity.
• Capable of assisting minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
