Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to deliver outstanding customer service in a busy store environment. You will bag groceries at checkout, keep aisles organized, and assist customers with loading bags into their cars while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

The role emphasizes friendly, proactive assistance, basic shelf maintenance, and adherence to local regulations. Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and assist customers.
• Aim to bag at least five items without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging with various bag types.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts.
• Clean spills and collect trash inside store and in parking lot.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside store and handle seasonal merchandise.
• Know store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
