Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to assist customers at checkout, bag items, and keep shelves and aisles tidy. The position requires friendly service, basic safety, and willingness to help customers load bags into their cars.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and ensure at least five items per bag without damage.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers with loading bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Gather bascarts and return to designated areas.
• Clean spills, collect trash inside store and parking lot.
• Understand store layout and locate products; conduct price checks for cashiers.
