Responsibilities:

1. Provide outstanding customer service by informing customers of specials, recommending products, and ensuring they find what they need.
2. Check product quality, review 'sell by' dates, and take appropriate action to maintain freshness.
3. Stock, label, and manage inventory of department merchandise.
4. Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to management.
5. Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions and adhere to food safety regulations.
6. Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, and log temperature data.
7. Develop product knowledge to assist and advise customers effectively.
8. Create a welcoming environment, making customers feel valued and appreciated.
9. Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report them.
10. Inspect equipment regularly and notify management of repairs needed.
11. Report any accidents involving customers or employees.
12. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally and with integrity.
13. Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
14. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
