Responsibilities include:
- Informing customers about food specials and recommending products to meet their needs.
- Checking product quality, reviewing 'sell by' dates, and taking appropriate actions.
- Providing customers with ordered products, both fresh and non-perishable.
- Labeling, stocking, and inventory management.
- Reporting discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
- Staying updated on current and upcoming promotions and ads.
- Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining proper temperatures with logs.
- Gaining knowledge of products and assisting customers with questions and suggestions.
- Creating a welcoming environment for customers.
- Reinforcing safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
- Inspecting equipment and notifying management of repairs needed.
- Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and managing conflicts professionally.
- Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Following directions and seeking help when needed.
- Supporting and assisting minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
