Grocery Clerk

Contributions

• Provides excellent customer service within the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments.
• Ensures these departments are well-stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and properly merchandised.
• Maintains an attractive sales floor by following Earth Fare merchandising guidelines as outlined by the Grocery Manager.

Helpful and Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Knowledge of common allergies and dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, etc., is preferred.
• Experience in retail or customer service environments is preferred.

Environmental Conditions & Physical Demands

• Works in a fast-paced environment focused on customer service.
• May work in cold environments.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Must be able to stand and be on feet during shifts.
