As a Grocery Clerk, your role involves stocking shelves to make grocery shopping easy and enjoyable for guests. You will help keep shelves stocked, products fresh, and the store organized, ensuring guests can find what they need quickly. Your attention to detail and friendly service help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued. Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Provide Helpful Service: Deliver excellent guest service through friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and with care.
• Stock & Display: Stock aisles, ensure products are fresh, properly rotated, and well-stocked.
• Offer Assistance: Help guests locate products and suggest alternatives when appropriate.
• Receiving & Inventory Support: Unload deliveries, organize stock, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Collaboration: Work with the Grocery Department Manager and team to meet goals.
• Clean & Organize: Keep the department clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
• Problem-Solving: Address guest concerns professionally.
• Meet Goals: Ensure shelves are stocked by designated times.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance with adequate notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Helpful attitude and commitment to guest service.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Awareness of safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and equipment safety.
• Ability to operate equipment like power jacks, forklifts, and other machinery (training provided).

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand for long periods, work in coolers, bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Full upper body motion to lift products, perform repetitive tasks.
• Visual and sensory abilities to monitor the store, create displays, and operate equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.

Work Schedule:

This part-time position may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
