• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricingcodes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations tocustomers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checkeris responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, performing cash register operations and safeguarding company assets. Must be able to bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of times.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
